Jul 27, 2016· Our SCHUBERTH E1 was a size large and as we’ve noted for years, the C3-series with just two shell sizes to span the head size range means the sizing is non-standard. The E1 is about one-half to one size smaller than expected for a size L, while the size XL in the C3, C3 Pro, E1 and Aventuro Mod feels about 1/2 size big for an XL.

I checked out Schubeth's size chart and my head fell into the large range. I tried on a large first which fit snug so I tried on an extra large which fit loose.

I don't feel like a modular if worth the extra weight. I bought a full face Schuberth. I have always wanted one, and I like the built in bluetooth system.
Jun 24, 2016· The shell size change comes after head size L (59 cm) and this creates a non-standard head sizing scheme for the C3, C3 Pro and now the E1. As you can see on Schuberth’s sizing chart above, there is a big jump from 59 cm to 61 cm when going from the L to XL sizes.
Jun 24, 2020· The medium is too tight, so I called Schuberth to ask about sizing and going to a large. I was told that the only difference in a medium and a large is the cheek pads. I get it that the shell sizes are the same, but I am not necessarily buying it that the only difference is cheek pads.

Aug 21, 2016· Normal large runs 59-60cm but the Schuberth is only 58-59cm. I am exactly at 59cm. Should I go to the extra large or will the large break-in and be okay for me? I'd really like to stay in a large because that is still the smaller of the two shell sizes.
Aug 21, 2016· Called Schuberth and they mentioned that either could work depending on head shape. 59cm is a difficult situation/size for the C3, falling right between large and Xl. My take away from the conversation with their tech support, If you have a "Schuberth" headshape then a large would work.
Aug 24, 2015· The M1 has but two shell sizes to span the head size range and the size L at 59 cm listed on our tag is the same as the C3, a non-standard SCHUBERTH size, just like the C3 (standard size large helmets usually fit 59-60 cm, not 58-59 cm).

Schuberth C3 - XXL Arai XD3 - XXL Shoei 1000 - XL Nolan N103 - XL On the Arai, I moved to the XXL due to the shape of the helmet and my head. I tried a Schuberth S1 in XL, it fit OK but I had a couple of hot spots on top of my forehead.
